So, a Blonde Chases this Giant into a Cave…
archeologist, but he’s not exactly a treasure hunter either. Rousseau lives on a planet called Asgard. Imagine this world like an onion – layer upon layer – a world constructed by some alien race, an unimaginable amount of time in the past. Rousseau, like so many others, strives to reach the center of Asgard. Unfortunately, he has only ever traversed the first four levels down from the planet’s surface. He Was Just Following Orders
Fred Johnson was just following orders. Or, so he thought when he attacked Anderson Station. Fred and his troops breached the hull of the station and marched in, guns blazing. He carefully monitored the progress of his forces as they cleared corridor after corridor. There were pockets of resistance that they overcame quickly since the troops wore body armor and were armed with high-powered rifles. The “terrorists” on board the station wore nothing but coveralls and were armed with anything they could get their hands on – a few guns, but mostly tools and other hand-made weapons. I never wanted to smile at his dinner parties again. Never wanted to beg him for the children he wouldn’t give me. I’d never again clean up his clothes, covered in moonshine vomit.I … Continue reading “I chose the day I would die”

In fact, it is one of my favorite movies of all time. Resistance is Futile – Or is it?
One of the major themes that you will see me repeat time and time again in this blog is that you should be reading to your children. Today’s book, Titan Base by Eric S. Nylund, is a great read for anyone who enjoys action and adventure, and yes, a little mystery too. Titan Base is book 3 in the 4-book series called The Resisters. The … Continue reading Resistance is Futile – Or is it?
Dinosaurs and Field Guides
Two more books for the Abandoned books list: The Dinosaur Lords by Victor Milan Men and women live on Paradise, but dinosaurs predominate.
